This neighborhood is quiet and so comfortable to live in. I have felt safer in a neighborhood. It’s secluded from the hustle and bustle of the rest of manhattan but still close enough to feel like a true New Yorker. Not to mention, the views are amazing and the abundance in grassy scenery is super calming. I could not imagine living anywhere else.

I’ve been busy with my projects lately and I wanted to share the last report project that I did on mental health. I believe mental health is just as important as a physical one. And to treat such issues, there should be more Mental Health shelters. So, for my project, I and my teammates went to this shelter that treats women specifically and offers them permanent residence. It’s called the ‘Neighborhood House Women’s Mental Health Shelter’ and it was quite huge to accommodate many women. The staff, especially Marianne Benn, was kind enough to give us a tour and explain more about the shelter. As for its clients, this place offers home-delivered meals, institutional food services, Art therapy, basic teaching classes, performing Arts, and several adult activities!! They engage their clients in better activities and I think that is an excellent idea to make people relieve their stress and spend time on healthy actions. I believe this place was a great deal for my project. Do you guys know more such places that I can go to for completing my report?
