I’m simply amazed at my wife sometimes. She just comes up with sudden challenges at times and to be honest, she has won 90% of the bets (its not that I let her win on purpose). So, we were walking around E88th street and saw the ‘Le Pain Quotidien’ and then we moved along the road towards the 89th street and saw ‘Patis Bakery’. Right at that moment, my wife Sara made a bet to me which bakery has the best desserts. How on Earth would I know I’ve never tasted both! She took the Patis Bakery so I chose the other one. First, we went to Patis and got a chance to taste their strawberry croissant and chocolate hazelnut Babka. The Babka was super tasty and soft. My wife was totally winning at this point. Then, we went to Le Pain Quotidien and tried out their croissant, lemon tart and their mini carrot cake. It was OH TOO SAVOURY! We absolutely enjoyed the taste and the service was quick too. The prices were almost the same but we both loved the sweets of Le Pain Quotidien a bit more. This is the first bet I’ve won in ages against my wife haha!
