I can’t remember the last time I had a coffee which made me scream WOW from inside! I had that feeling at Miles Coffee Bar. Do not go by the looks of it, it might appear to be compact but the interiors are jaw-dropping and they have a supportive staff who is dedicatedly working to serve you the best food and coffee. You can find them hustling at 4093 E Tremont Avenue. Just a heads up, you might not be able to see the sign clearly so just go by the address. I was actually allured by their 6$ Avocado Sandwich, which also happens to be their forte. It’s a bit difficult to make an avocado taste so good, now I know where I need to get the good carbs from. It’s the customization that makes them unique. I had the maple juice and cinnamon powder added to my coffee which made it even more ecstatic. If you are a sandwich lover, this is just the right place for you. They have built a beautiful outdoor area where you can enjoy food while basking in the sun. People have kind of made it their Office Space. Just a request, they are a small business that is really working hard to give the best experience to their customers so support them by being patient. It’s open 7 days a week, so Bon Appetit!

  • I was really tired of my sedentary lifestyle and after COVID 19, it became even worse. It was high time that I took things under control and started working out and to be very honest, it was the best decision that I made. As a kid, I used to practise taekwondo so I took this as an opportunity to revive my childhood days and make some Impact. If you reside near Brucknerd Boulevard, you might have come across this amazing gym, Total Impact. They primarily teach Taekwondo there but if someone is interested in a regular gym routine, they have arrangements for that as well. The staff and teachers there are really cooperative and work on the overall development of people. Along with self-defence, this training would help you imbibe leadership skills as well so it’s definitely worth the time you are going to spend there. They are open on Monday, Saturday and Sunday so you can choose the day that suits you best! Happy Training!

  • I am a die-hard fan of Latin Cuisine and also a vegan so if you are in the Bronx, you can trust Travesias to appease your hunger for the same. If you go by the literal explanation, Travesias depicts travel and the owner of the restaurant has amalgamated all of his experience of different recipes and culinary techniques which he has gathered while traveling across the world. Their logo has a bike in it so it's quite evident. Being a Latin fusion restaurant, most of their plates here include Latin-Asian, Latin-Indian, and Latin-Latin. The Chef says, they have something for everybody and honestly, their menu is really fun. For appetizers, I ordered Picadera Travesias which covered all the best-selling appetizers, and Travesias Guacamole which had freshly smashed avocados with diced tomato, onion, cilantro, and lime. I was really hooked on to the mesmerizing aroma and the aftertaste stayed with me till I reached back home. Their prices might seem a bit high but it gets compensated for with the kind of services and experience they provide. Travesias is a big yes in my recommendation list so do check it out!
