The grand opening of the new Gitanos Beach opened up this weekend. Starting off with a nice ferry trip from battery park you arrive to Governors island to experience a dinner on a beach in NYC. With the most amazing margaritas and delicious taco selection this is the place to be this summer. They have live music and are open until 10pm. They have brought a little part of Tulum Mexico to NYC. You can make reservations online.

  • My family and I went to Merchants River House to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the waitstaff was quite friendly. Jameson, our server, was really attentive and helpful in describing the menu's different drink and food options. We ordered a lot of food, and it was all delicious! We began with a round of cocktails. The Phoenix Down drink, which had a flavor of ginger and honey, was what I ordered. I strongly suggest it. I had a few sips of my daughter's hot apple cider (which is non-alcoholic, by the way), and it was likewise delicious. The spinach and artichoke dip with toasted pita chips and the butternut squash soup with a mushroom-topped naan were among the appetizers we ordered. These were excellent table starters and shareables, and we all appreciated them. I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese as my meal, despite the fact that it is a beginning. Although it was a smaller serving, it was still quite filling. We were really pleased with our decision to eat at this establishment! We sat outdoors in their outside structure, where we could take in the water views. Although the Statue of Liberty was a little out of the way from the restaurant, the views were still spectacular, especially at night.

  • The Westfield World Trade Center is a modern architectural marvel that is also a work of art. I'm not sure how much money they spent on this structure, but I'm thinking it's in the billions. The mall is first and foremost a shopping mall and a transit hub, although most people who aren't taking public transportation aren't there for the high-end shops. Many folks simply come in to see what a fantastic area it is. It just leaves you speechless. In my opinion, the sheer vastness and the fact that everything is underground but still so bright inside are pretty remarkable. I had a great time exploring this location. A bird being released by a child's hands inspired the design! There are a lot of retail and food options here, and it reminded me a lot of the suburban malls in my neighborhood. In the bi-level space, you'll find Apple, Aesop, Banana Republic, Fossil, Stuart Weitzman, Sephora, Kusmi Tea, Rituals, and more. Eataly is my all-time fave. This location appeals to me more than the original in Flatiron. I enjoy browsing everything Italian, including their wine bar, gelato bar, pasta bar, and coffee shop.

  • It was a fantastic experience at Ribeca Hair Studio! I've been living in NYC for four years and have visited numerous hair salons. I've never gone back to one since there was always something wrong with it, whether it was the cut, the pricing, or the service...BUT Tribeca Hair Studio was fantastic. I wanted a haircut for my unruly, frizzy, and curly hair. This salon was able to accommodate me quickly, and I had an appointment within a week. I was pleasantly pleased because the previous hair salon chain where I used to attend (which had multiple salons in various locations throughout Manhattan) took months to schedule an appointment. Also, I had such a poor experience with an unapproachable, uninterested hairdresser that I was quite hesitant and apprehensive about this salon and treatment. Lily was my stylist here, and oh my goodness, she is the loveliest hairdresser I have ever encountered. She is simply fantastic!! She pampers you to the point that you feel pampered. I believe it is critical to establish a connection with your stylist and to engage in your relationship by continuing to visit the same salon. If you're curious about how my hair turned out, I have thick curly medium long hair that required a lot of upkeep. Overall, the procedure of washing, waiting, washing, drying, treatment, ironing, and washing again took 2 hours. This is a site that I strongly suggest.
