So the Aden Beauty Supply Store in Queens is too good not to visit. It’s clean, friendly, nice, and has literally everything you could possibly need for gorgeous hair. They’ve got glue, gel, scissors, tons of extensions from cheap to ✨expensive✨. All the employees that work there are super knowledgeable about the products. So whatever your texture or issue, they’ll know exactly what you need. I’ve got super dry hair, and they recommended to me a great product with jojoba oil! Try it out!
Ok, so as an actor, I have a hard time booking a photo shoot. Seriously, headshots cost a lot, so it feels really unnecessary to just get a photo shoot that isn't for work. Ya feel? But as an indulgence I went ahead and booked a portrait session with "Your Beauty Studios," and wow wow wow. The photographer made me feel so comfortable, and I truly felt like I could be myself. Sure it wasn't a headshot, but it was something for me, and he made it such a positive experience. I really felt like my best side could shine. BTW the shots came out great. I can't post them yet, but here's some behind the scenes!
Juice shops are my guilty pleasure and let me tell you, Mother Earth Juice is PERFECT. The employees know so much about the benefits of what’s going into your juice! They’re so on it they even have their own supplements that you can buy to put into your drinks at home! You may think, “Ok. A Juice shop in South Jamaica? The area is starting to get gentrified,” No! It’s black-owned and family-owned. One of the reasons the employees know so much is because a doctor OWNS the business. Mother Earth Juice shows that everyone in South Jamaica is on the come up 💪🏾What do you think?
