Sweet Cats Cafe is adorable 🥺 First off, your first order is 10% off, so that's super nice. Second, everything there is beautiful. They have gorgeous crepe cakes in almost every flavor you could want. They sell all different types of Yakult, and they have bubble tea and mochi! If you're craving something a little saltier, I LOVE takoyaki balls and popcorn chicken. They have something called cheese foam, but I'm a little afraid to try it. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

  • I’m a huge supporter of family-run businesses, like Jib Lanes in Pomonok. It’s run by the LaSpina Family and has been for about 3 generations. Their business name is “Maple Family Centers.” Which I love since I’m a Canadian Immigrant, lol. They have glow-in-the-dark bowling. And, for my friends who have kids, there are little toddler lanes which is adorable 🥺 I read up on them since I’m curious, and they do charity too! They raised $40,000 for the Bowlers to Veterans Link during an event. How cool is that?

  • If you're looking for a cheap winter meal, try Kobe Ramen! All their stuff is super cheap, and you really get good food for what you pay! The broth is rich, and the pork is THICC. Everything is super flavorful. The scallion pancakes were perfectly crispy and probably the best I've ever had! My one complaint is that the egg is a LITTLE overdone. It's not hardboiled, god no, just it's not as gooey as it could be! If you're looking for a good cheap meal with decent portions, definitely check out Kobe Ramen in the Electchester Shopping Center. You'll be pleasantly surprised! Have you been?
