Hi neighbors! Do you know that you can make a complaint about noise from your neighbor, including loud music or television, talking, and moving or dragging of furniture? The official website for complaints https://portal.311.nyc.gov/article/?kanumber=KA-01017 What Happens Next Officers from the New York Police Department (NYPD) will respond within 8 hours when they are not handling emergencies. They will be able to take action if the noise is still happening when they arrive. If you make multiple complaints within 8 hours, police may only respond once. Other Ways to Get Help Many buildings have rules about noise. Contact your tenant association, building owner, or super if a neighbor in your building is often noisy.

  • In Union Square, The Climate Clock will display climate crisis solutions this weekend. I will definitely pay a visit Who will go? As always some more info here below https://climateclock.world/ The Climate Clock melds art, science, technology, and grassroots organizing to get the world to #ActInTime. The project is centered on a simple tool: a clock that counts down the critical time window to reach zero emissions (our “Deadline”), while tracking our progress on key solution pathways (“Lifelines”). By showing us what we need to do by when, the Clock frames our critical mission — a rapid and just transition to a safe climate future — and puts it at the very forefront of our attention. Since its famous launch in New York in September 2020, Climate Clock teams have sprung up across the world from Chiapas to Kazakhstan, from Korea to Glasgow. Join in.

  • Guys.. there is so much to select from at Paragon Sports that it can be intimidating. The store is enormous, yet they make every effort to organize it as efficiently as possible. Every time you turn a corner, someone asks whether you need assistance and/or directs you in the right direction. I went hunting for a proper winter coat for -6 degree temperatures the other night. I looked through their collection and found something I liked, but wow, the price! Devon, the sales associate, was all over it. He was well-versed on the whole inventory, as well as all of the specifics regarding each item. It was difficult for me to bite the bullet and buy the pricey coat I had my heart set on, so I went to Macy's and bought something less expensive. A HUGE MISTAKE. The other garment failed to keep me warm in the freezing temperatures. So I went back to Paragon today and did what I should have done in the first place: paid for quality and outstanding service. YOU ARE IN THE BEST HANDS AT PARAGON. Go there for any of your workout, running and sports needs.

  • CAMP is a children's indoor play and creative environment that I wish I had had when I was a kid. If anyone remembers Discovery Zone, it's like a scaled-down version of that, with more engaged employees and more cerebral and visual stimulation. There are also board games, video games, costumes, crafts, novels, a culinary station, and a gift shop, in addition to the slide and the track where you can ride a tricycle, the tunnels to crawl through, and the scooters to glide on. There was also stroller parking and an adjacent cafe. Parents and children appeared to be in good spirits, and there was plenty of room for everyone to walk around. I'll admit that if I were a kid, it would be difficult for me not to play with the toys that are ostensibly for sale and placed on every activity room's shelves. I'm curious how often a child can't discern the difference and becomes upset as a result. If I'm being critical, I'd say turning a standard toy store into an activity center is a brilliant marketing technique, but there seemed to be a lot available for the price of entrance to compensate.

  • This is one of the most architectonic structures I've ever seen! Despite a hectic schedule in New York, I'm delighted I was able to attend this attraction. It's as lovely as it appears in books and blogs, and I'm curious as to how they created it at that age. This is truly a must-see. In other words, despite the scaffolding and other typical New York messes, this is a work of architectural art and beauty that you must see if you are in the city. I took a leisurely stroll up Fifth Avenue from Times Square, and simply seeing that enormous tower out in the distance was incredible. This is a well-known photo location that is popular with both visitors and locals. There are numerous spots to sit throughout the structure. Either in the park or at the specially commissioned chairs and tables. You can walk to Eataly, have a cappuccino, and sit outside people-watching. The neighborhood is surrounded by a lovely park, a place to sit and connect to free WiFi, and a nice food cart or the eatalia store across the street for a snack. All of these factors combined provide an ideal resting location for travelers on foot.
