There are two types of people I don’t easily trust: dentists and dermatologists. I’m very strict when it comes to my body and self care. I need everything at perfection – or at least great. I heard a lot about the Dermatology & Skin Surgery in Staten Island, so I went for a regular checkup. I actually felt quite comfortable there, the staff welcomes me with such kindness that I felt like home. I met Dr. Fridman who advised me on my skin and gave me so many tips! I could tell he looked very knowledgeable and expert in his field. I took an appointment from them for the next week and now I’m hoping I’d like some treatment on my skin!

  • I never realised there was a Dunkin’ at Staten island! I’ve always been a fan of Dunkin’ since childhood, I mean, who’s not? Why didn’t anybody tell me about it I’m just surprised. I was on my way to research when I looked over and saw Dunkin’. I parked my car and went to get some fresh coffee. I just need a sip to get back on track from my drowsy self! I was glad the staff was nice so that I could talk to them and complain about how nobody told me about this place before. The menu just gets better and better. Now that I know it’s here, I’ll often grab something on my way just in case I feel hungry or whatever! I’m gonna try the sandwiches, anybody else likes them?

  • I remember my stay at Hilton Garden Inn with my family last summer and it was such a nice play to stay! I was actually worried if we could find a great place to stay in that area but I’m just glad we found the perfect spot to travel around and have fun as well. The lobby was very welcoming, service and food was great too. You get good meals, there’s internet, and you can stay for as long as you like. The rooms were spacious and had soft pillows and comfortable beds. Also, we didn’t have to pay much at the hotel and I’m glad we could use that money instead on our outings and traveling. I guess we need more such places on Earth that are very welcoming?

  • *Embarasing moment spoiler* Okay, I’ve never had a bubble tea before! My husband once took me to ViVi Bubble tea in New Dorp. The place seemed quite vibrant and lively. There was a large variety of teas and without asking me, my husband ordered the Vivi Signature fruit tea for both of us. The tea was tasty, no doubt! While I was drinking, I asked my husband “I don’t see bubbles inside” and then he laughed at me for a minute and pointed at the pearl-shaped thingy that was settled at the end and said “those are the bubbles.” I was surprised for a while but then we both laughed together. It was a wonderful evening, full of love, tasty tea and joy!

  • My aunt’s been feeling severe knee pain for the past month. We consulted several doctors but none seems to be economical yet trustable. My friend told me about iOrtho so we went there last week, consulted the doctor about the knee pain, and here we are with an appointment. The doctor suggested we go for total knee surgery because of the condition. He showed us several machines in his office that worked for this cause. He planned a complete physical, spine, and ortho therapy for my aunt and I’m glad we have a reflection of what shall be done. I believe this place would treat her pain and she won't have to go through this again. I would also like to learn a few experiences if you guys have had any?

  • Our start at the "Canlon's" was done with a warm welcome. The vibe I got from the Chicken Milanese was exactly how my grandma would’ve cooked for me. The fact that I chose this place was not because of its beauty, rather I felt overjoyed by the chef’s handmade taste of spices and rich herbs that I could have tasted nowhere but here. Right across the railroad, this place connected me to its beautiful world. Maybe I should check their special next time. Is it still good as it looks? It’s hard to think because I dislike cold food, it’s good when it’s hot or fresh from the oven. I just wish they don’t make me wait too long for the food. If so, I should grab one of their magazines!!

  • It was not long before when my dad and I went to the 'Clean Touch Car Wash.' It was a very rough day for us. There was a huge car line and once inside you could feel trapped! The good thing was that the time went by quickly but, surely it would’ve been better if they could stop the other cars from their constant horning. They offer quite a lot of services that I liked and I wondered where they got this car-to-car cohesive strength from. The lady washing our car was quick and impressive too but my dad kept telling her to make sure not to leave the corners dry. Those words touched her like how a spider sticks its web, and here we are on our second time for a car wash.

  • One thing that I’m 100% sure of is that I’m definitely not a soccer person! My friends usually visit Miller field in the evening I just catch up along but I always sit aside and watch them play soccer. It was my first time when they dragged me into playing soccer with them and OH LORD! I sucked at it. We laughed and laughed and laughed but then as we walked around the fields, I totally won the baseball match! It’s a great park, full of greenery and one that just motivates people to play. I used to walk around the park and watch birds fly in the sky but I guess I should work on my soccer skills now instead, Haha! Next time I’ll bring them down in basketball!

  • Hoffman & Swinburne Islands are also called the quarantine islands of New York. My dad told me about how it was built to accommodate people with contagious diseases that were super deadly. Today, both islands are considered bird sanctuaries for nesting shorebirds, gulls, and others. All the work’s being monitored by the New York Audubon. Additionally, there are man-made islands so I guess there isn't much topographical work there as in other islands. Currently, both islands are under National Park Service and the public is not allowed to go there. The Swinburne Island’s also famous for accommodating harbor seals and grey seals. I wonder if I could visit the place someday?

  • Now I’m going to give you guys some great advice on how to celebrate a wedding anniversary! I’m saying this because my wife loved the idea and I did too, so it’s a personal experience as well. There’s this place called the ‘Basilio Inn’ in Galesville that’s nearby the beach. It offers Italian food at a reasonable price which my wife absolutely loves! So we went there for lunch, had some alfredo pasta, Bolognese, fried zucchini, and blueberry tart for dessert. Our table was decorated on special reserve and then I and my wife took a cab to the beach. It was wonderful! I bought her some flowers from a shop on the way. The weather was pleasant when we got there. We walked around the shore, tried to make a castle, sang songs, and we talked a lot. It was a wonderful day!
