Fun fact, Paul Simon’s Childhood home is in Kew Garden Hills! So in case you DON’T know who that is. He’s a singer-songwriter (and a pretty famous one at that…). He was Simon in Simon and Garfunkel! 👀 Still not ringing any bells? He wrote and sang “The Sound of Silence” and “Mrs.Robinson.” 💅 If none of this makes sense to you, LOOK IT UP! Anyways, if you’re looking to see his house, it’s at 137-62 70th Rd, Flushing, NY. It’s not a museum, but it is a nice reminder talent can come from ANYWHERE.
So I'm not Kosher, but all my friends who are LOVE Holy Schnitzel. They offer tons of fast food that's all kosher. That means tons of variety that isn't just burgers and fries. They have wraps, sandwiches, and platters. This location is the Queen's location, but it all started out in Staten Island. I think they have about 8 shops open in total all over the New York area! This isn't just a place for if you're Kosher, it's for people who are looking for GREAT food. Seriously. They wouldn't have that many locations if the food didn't taste AH-Mazing! It's better than Mcdonald's, and you can fight me on that!
Kew Gardens Hills Library is GORGEOUS. I had no idea? I went today, and I loved how modern the building was. No surprise since it was finished in 2017, but it still looks beautiful. I love the open-air reading area. Also, the green flooring makes me feel like I’m reading in the park on a sunny day 😭I wish! This place totally cured my winter blues. I just wish it was summer or even spring! That way, I could see its green roof. No, seriously, grass literally grows on the top. Have you gone before? What’s your favorite part!
