  • On a recent weekend trip to NYC with my fiancee, I went to Chelsea Market with her. This location is fantastic! There's a little something for everyone. If you're a foodie, there's much to choose from, including superb restaurants, small specialized shops, and a lively food court selling fresh breads, pizza, and other delicacies. There is shopping, and local sellers sell their handcrafted wares. Jewelry, Asian-inspired goods, candles and skincare, as well as art and clothes, were among the items I observed. There are also some higher-end businesses where you may shop for jewelry, apparel, home decor, and specialty items such as eyeglasses. We spent a great time going around, browsing, and admiring the decor. Because we came so close to Christmas, the Christmas decorations were still up, which was great. I like the small outdoor sitting and eating places that have been constructed out of the sidewalks to provide a place to rest or dine. I'd want to return in the summer when more places are open and it's not so cold!

  • Empanada Mama is my favorite place to get empanadas. This restaurant, which is open 24 hours, is located in the center of Hell's Kitchen and is particularly packed on weekends and late at night. I've placed several orders and have always had a positive experience. The empanadas are all delicious, but the Cuban, Desayuno Colombiano, and spicy chicken empanadas are my favorites. Meat is usually succulent and flavorful. Even their salads are of excellent quality. The greens are never wilted or past their prime, and they provide generous serving sizes. I also order the grilled chicken side dish, which is delicious. They always serve a generous portion and the chicken is always tender! The food is always packed extremely well by the delivery drivers, who are speedy and efficient. I got three different kinds last week: Raggaeton, Cuban, and ground beef. I'd recommend the ones with cheese based on my previous experience. I would give this establishment a 5 star if they all tasted like the Cuban, but the meat-only ones are a little dry and aren't my particular favorite. The cheese and flour empanadas are a great combination: light and crispy on the top, moist and chewy rich cheese on the interior, plus whatever filling you have. Also, the baked and corn empanadas have a very rough exterior; be careful when cutting or your empanada will fly off the table. The service is excellent, the food is served quickly, and the pricing are reasonable. I eat a considerable lot of food on a regular basis, and three was just enough for me to feel satisfied.

  • If anyone is looking for the best places to live in New York, Hell's Kitchen is it. Me and my husband stayed there 3 nights and the apartment was just like the pictures and the view was amazing. LOVED EVERYTHING!! The property was very well presented, clean, very modern, and newly renovated. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated. The room was big with plenty of space for two people to walk around, plus a desk area with a comfy armchair. The beds were super comfy. The air con was a blessing. All windows/sliding door is double glazed so the apartment is nice and quiet. The bathroom was clean and well-lit with plenty of hot water. Great and easy communication with the host and everything felt smooth. He was super friendly and gave us some excellent recommendations on places to eat and see with the time that we had. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every regard. Trust me, you couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy your stay in New York. Altogether a great experience and value for money. We would definitely stay there again. I would recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone who is planning to live in a nice and quiet apartment.
