Hey Guys, what's up? So, I want to share an experience I recently had in one of Glendale's Park. It was a Sunday afternoon, and I just had a cup of coffee from a cafe. I was looking for a mall to buy a few dresses for my boy and me. Also, I needed a birthday gift for my girlfriend next week. I Googled and found good reviews for a mall nearby, called The Shops at Atlas Park. Wao, there must be a lot of shops there - I thought to myself. So, I took a cab and reached the destination. It is a comprehensive and splendid building with many spaces and lawns to sit and hang out both inside and outside. So, I started exploring various aspects of the mall. I felt calm happiness that I would find all my stuff here - including the birthday gift for my lady. And after a long stroll, I managed to get my stuff. There are many people on Sundays, and there must be more on Saturdays. Did you ever come here for shopping or dinner? What do you think of this place?

  • Last Sunday, I had a chance to visit an excellent site located in your neighbourhood of Glendale. Yes, it is in the highland park and is a superb spot for hanging out or running or cycling. We entered the park and roamed around for a bit of fresh air, and ultimately reached the Ridgewood Reservoir. Since it was initially built as a water reservoir, it is the name given to it. It has fresh and clean water. A few freshwater fish species can be found here, listed as endangered a while ago. Thanks to the city department and strict regulations, those fish increase their numbers. It is a pretty good spot for a family day out or picnic on Saturdays and Sundays. We sat near the track and enjoyed the view. I felt really relaxed and empowered by the picture it presented. A few cyclists were doing routine practices, and a few families were out with children. It was a pleasant experience. Highland Park is a vast park that cannot be explored easily on one visit. Most of you locals must hang around here a lot. So, any good spots in the park which I should know of?

  • This post is particularly for history fanatics and art lovers. Yes, if you are from Glendale, you know I am talking about Forest Lawn Museum. I recently got a chance to visit this great museum. It is an old museum and heaven for local art enthusiasts. Looking at the historical art pieces reminded me of the past deeds by various fellows of Glendale. It is a great honor for the local community to have something to remember their ancestors. Moreover, people were exploring their flower shops and provided grave spots and obituaries. They exhibit certain memorials for different aspects of history from time to time. I am thinking of attending one in the near future. I was excited to see various paintings, drawings, sculptures, maps, stained glasses, etc. They were truly masterpieces, and you can judge them if you have that artist's eye. Furthermore, I saw a lot of kids from a school visiting various sections of the museum with a guide. If you are a parent and want to teach your kid a bit of local history - there is no better place in Glendale. Any other historical spots in the area? Please do comment.
