If you love Asian food, check out Asian Jewels in Flushing! They’ve got a MASSIVE menu to choose from with fabulous foods. They’ve got everything from bamboo steamers to lobster and classic American. Also, if you’re craving Dim Sum, they have such a fun dim sum menu. It’s one of my favorite spots. My boyfriend and I go there all the time, and we get the shrimp dumplings, pan-fried chives cake, and crispy fried dumplings. So good! Check it out, and let me know if you get anything I mentioned!
So my friend dragged me into Monster Aquarium the other day, and GUYS, it’s incredible. They’re literally full of items for all your fishy needs. When I say stacked, it’s floor-to-ceiling rows upon rows of supplies and equipment. Whatever your specialty fish needs, they got it. They’ve been selling fish for 10+ years, and seeing all the colors and fins is magical. They even have a puffer fish like in Finding Nemo 🥺 If you love fish and aquariums, check them out! You won’t want to miss them.
I’ve lived in New York for 5 years, and I always thought the Mets Stadium was way out in Long Island. You can tell me I’m stupid now. I had no idea it was off the 7 train! Literally at the stop marked “Willets Point.” Technically this stadium opened in 2009, but still. Total dumb moment. It also has way better food than the Yankee stadium ngl... There’s Shake Shack, Blue Smoke, El Verano Taqueria, Catch of the Day, and Box Frites... But y’all already knew that since no one told me it was so close 😭 What else has everyone been hiding from me! Now I wanna know 🙄
