Sometimes you spend much of your time passing by some spots, you look at them, but don’t pay attention, and then suddenly you realize why you ignored such amazing places around! I used to walk in Dyker Beach Park along with my dog but never realized there was a soccer place around. Last Saturday, I came with my sister and told me that there was a soccer playing field. It was a nice soccer courtyard and some guys already playing there. My sister sat in the stand while I requested the guys to let me play for a while (of course they let me in). I played there for half an hour and it was such a fun time. (My poor soccer-playing skills made them laugh so hard). Thank God there were not so many people – COVID world it is. Anyhow, I am glad that I found such an amazing spot near my place. I would like to come here more often!

When I first moved to New York a few years ago, the Dyker Beach Park was a gem of a find. I usually come here with friends, I play in this golf course when I want to have a peaceful time – out of the NYC noisy life. It’s a nice gold course, greenery all around, bushes and hedges trimmed all the summer. I also come here with my dog (Probably the best place if your dog loves to run). Lots of cute dogs around and my dog has already found some acquaintances. It’s just not a gold course park, but I see families having Barbeques and quality time with each other. (But that seems to be a problem because I come here to have some peace). Overall it’s in a good shape; the only problem is that the management needs to collect garbage spread around. This is the safest park for me and my dog and we often come here to have a good time.
