The water ferry is the best way to get around in nyc. Only $2.75 a ticket. They have a bathroom with a bar and snack available for purchase. If your looking to get to dumbo from Williamsburg this is way quicker than taking the subway into the city then back into brooklyn.
Ciao Bow Wow is a favorite of myself and my jack russell/rat terrier mix, Chloe! She looks forward to walking to Ciao Bow Wow every morning because she can't wait to play with all of her pals. Sara and the rest of the staff are excellent, and they treat Chloe as if she were their own child. I can't say enough good things about both the facility and the employees! The facility itself is warm, inviting, and well-lit. We looked at other daycare centers in the area, and they all seemed to be in bad shape (more like dog prison than daycare). Ciao Bow Wow features two levels, couches, jumping/playing platforms, and a small outdoor area where pups may enjoy some fresh air. The facility is kept immaculately clean and always smells great (like lavender) – they use eco-friendly cleaning agents, so it never smells chemical. Chloe always smells so wonderful and clean when she gets home! Ciao Bow Wow also provides complimentary one-way drop-off or pick-up, which is a great advantage for my husband and me as working professionals who don't always get out of work in time to pick up Chloe. Ciao Bow Wow will continue to be Chloe's primary childcare center, and we will suggest Ciao Bow Wow to friends and neighbors!

Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of my favorite places to come and shoot some pictures with my friends. From across the East River, this is a highly recommended site to visit in New York for a wonderful perspective of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. The park is well-kept and offers numerous opportunities to relax, hike, rollerblade, paddle board, or simply take in the magnificent view of the metropolis across the river. In addition, I urge that you re-enter Manhattan by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. We rode the train to the Brooklyn side of the bridge, walked to the park, and then made the brisk 20 minutes walk across. It's definitely one of the best parks in the country for views anyway. I'm not surprised everybody loves it and I do too. I'm definitely looking forward to returning here when we have more time. There appears to be something for everyone to do, and I'd love to try something from one of the street vendors!

I've been looking for an excellent massage therapist for a long time. I've had lots of massages where they give you a once-over and maybe kneed or rolled over a few knots before charging those Manhattan fees. Until I read these reviews and contacted Siobhan at DUMBO Wellness, I was at a loss with my neck and shoulders. Believe the hype! Simply said, Siobhan is the best LMT in the world. Her skill is incredible and unrivaled (you'll often marvel at how the hell she does what she does), and her studio is serene and tidy. Siobhan is unique not only because of her works, but also because she takes the time to truly listen to your treatment goals and then clearly explain how she intends to approach them. You can always tell that a lot of effort and experience has gone into your treatment, and you can obviously feel the positive consequences afterwards - Siobhan isn't simply going through the motions; she genuinely cares about making you feel better.
