My girlfriend is an art lover and I to appreciate it. I heard of Coney Art Wall so I took her to it on a Saturday evening. There was an event happening too when we got there. These art walls were quite extraordinary. Each was different and unique. I have not seen wall artistry before, so this was very unique and different for me. This place is already beautiful and these art walls just add more colors to it. The art on the walls were representing the creativity and diversity of the artists. My girlfriend is a true fan of art and she knows all the details. She told me the meaning of these arts from time to time. We took some amazing pictures of the wall as well. There were a lot of other tourists as well admiring the beauty of local artists. Live music at night made the whole vibe more awesome. The food from the food trucks was amazing too. Art lover or not, this place is a must-visit if you are in Coney Island.

I was flooded with laundry during the lockdown. Tried a few laundry services during the lockdown as my local laundry place was closed. Among all, I have found ‘D & J Laundromat' reliable. I have been using it for a few months now and it’s always been pretty simple and effortless. They are so cheaper than most of the laundry services I have used before. And the best thing is that they have an app. I simply registered myself and the guy came to pick up my clothes. I don’t even need to tell them to separate different clothes because it’s all done through the app. They returned my clothes within 24 hours and not to mention, whatever detergent they use, my clothes smelled super nice. And you can do the whole billing thing online. (It’s so amazing that I can get my laundry done with the tap of a few buttons). And they notified e when my laundry was ready, a guy delivered it free of cost (I really liked it but next time, I’ll surely tip the guy). I have become their loyal client since then.

When it comes to sweets, I chose the best in business. I have been to many sweet shops depending on the area I’m in. This time I was in Coney Island at my friend’s house. I asked him to take me to Best sweet shop in town. He took me to William’s candy; it was a small shop but crowded with customers. When I entered, It was like I’m in candy Island, not Coney. There were a lot of varieties of candies. My friend asked me to try out their caramel apples since they were the best sellers and very rare to find. We ordered 4 caramel apples with coconuts. When I took the first bite, my childhood memories started to come back. I haven’t eaten such tasty and soft caramel apples in my life. The staff and the service were good too. I think I’m gonna come to Coney Island more often just because of this amazing candy shop.

So last week, I went to my sister’s house that lives in Coney Island. I was so excited to see my niece and nephew, I hadn’t seen them in two years. If you have nieces or nephews, you would know it’s tough to be the favorite aunt. I wanted to cheer them up and create some memories so we decided to go Manhattan Beach. Just happened to stumble upon this amazing aquarium “New York Aquarium.” My niece and nephew were so happy to see neat exhibits and tanks all around. The kids were amazed to see marine life swimming above and under. They had a lot of modest size exhibits which are very informative for the kids. You just have to see how excited my niece was to touch the starfish and other marine life under the water (I have become their favorite aunt since then). A number of displays inside the aquarium were worth looking at. We walked around, the kids were so happy that I didn’t realize we had spent 1.5 hours inside. Finally, we came out, had a fun walk outside I bought some snacks and ice cream for the kids, and then we returned home. It was such a memorable and fun day with my favorite kids.
