I recently shifted to Bedford and looking for a residence. I googled properties like anyone else and found out Kit Ram. This Residential place is Friendly, professional and really good service. It has been a pleasure since contacting Kit Ram regarding our recent home. We were booked in really quickly to view and all the proceedings after went very nicely indeed. Really good experience overall and very happy with the whole experience, thank you very much and highly recommended! If you are also new to Bedford and looking place to live permanently for a few days, Kit Ram is one of the reliable places with the cheapest rates.

  • Hi Maxwell here, I am going to tell you an amazing place to ship in Van Cortland Village. The place is Broadway Plaza, I go to Aldi's here, which is a great store for good-quality goods (especially organics) at bargain prices. I also like that the cashiers get to sit down, because really, why should they have to stand? All cashiers in Europe sit, so why not here? Aldi's owns Trader Joe's, so you'll find some very similar products, and then they have this strange aisle of random merchandise that occasionally has some really great items (and sometimes not). If you drive, there is a parking garage, and if you are careless, you can take the subway or a bus (though be aware that many of the downtown subway stops are not open on the weekend due to construction). This is recommended place for shopping! I‘ll give 10/10

  • You cannot miss an award-winning all-day casual coffee bar café destination - the jewel in the crown of Bedford Park, open all year round. As mentioned in the 2017 Good Food Guide. There are few pleasures in life greater than good food, good friends, and beautiful surroundings. The newly opened Pavilion Cafe in Bedford Park is about bringing these things together. The iconic building in the heart of the park has been lovingly restored to reflect a grand past and a bright future - and is the perfect setting to enjoy an excellent meal in great company. Chef Jonny is a firm believer in un-fussy, wholehearted dishes made from scratch with the best, locally sourced ingredients.

  • If you are a resident of Van Cortland Village, you already knew the famous and self-growing extension designated in Kingsbridge Height. Recently I visited The Thinkubator Café. It is an entity of The Thinkubator, Inc, a Bronx-based nonprofit organization focused on crafting innovative strategies to complex local challenges that have global implications. The Thinkubator approaches our work with a racial and economic equity lens through three major areas: education, research, and community. The Thinkubator decided to leverage its location in the South Bronx by partnering with Don Carvajal Café to open a coffee shop and training center to prepare the next local generation of entrepreneurs, roasters, innovators, and community leaders. The Cafe is a coffee shop, training center, and community space with the hopes of training 50 young adults annually on coffee roasting, business operations, and entrepreneurship. If you are looking to meet starters or beginners, new entrepreneurs, this café is recommended.

  • I am a big fan of cultural materialism and comparative cultural analysis. Two weeks ago, I found a place with multi-ethnicity residents to complete my class project on Asian & European communities; compare and contrast. Before I go into depth, let me tell you! This place is the perfect spot if you are a student or associate of comparative cultural analysis. No surprise, I am talking about Bedford. Bedford Park is home to people of many ethnicities including Korean, Indians, Bangladeshis, Chinese, German, French. Each ethnicity is a true representation of their culture. Reflecting a population greatly composed of foreign-born immigrants, there are distinct ethnic enclaves in Bedford Park. This place's ethnic diversity manifests itself in an assortment of ways besides the formation of enclaves. Bedford Park is a legit place to understand how cultures interact with each other and also how to understand cultures that you've never seen before. This is a 101% recommended place to sense and study multi-cultures around the world.
